DhariLo Social Media Tip 11: Don’t Be Afraid to Be Transparent! Honestly is the best policy and your customers and fan base will appreciate it.
So many of you out there get scared when a negative comment pops up about your brand on social media. Worse still, it deters many from getting on social media in general.
First, WAKE UP! Wether you “exist” on social media or not, comments (both good and bad) are being posted. Don’t be afraid of a few negative comments- these are opportunities for building and mending relationships with clients and shows prospects that you actually care about them.
Same goes for mistakes- own up to them, address them, apologize, make a joke- everyone messes up sometimes. Again, humanize your brand, your consumers want to know you can handle and amend situations rather than run away.
Last but not least have a negative feedback plan or guidelines in place.
