29 Nov Simple Ways To Increase Visibility For Your Holiday Campaign
Are you running any holiday campaigns this year? In this post I’ve outlined a few things you can do to increase visibility for your holiday campaign.
Don’t underestimate the gift guide
Not everyone is great at coming up with gift ideas. I know I take time to google gift guide around holiday time for inspiration and ideas. If your holiday promotion surrounds a product, don’t under estimate the gift guide. If you have a blog create a post with gifts that make sense for your target audience and be sure to include your products in it (or make it all about your products and categorize the gifts)!
Pin posts to the top of your profile
On the networks that allow it (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn Company pages), pinning posts to the top of the page are a great way to bring extra visibility to your holiday campaign or contest. Anytime someone visits your profile the first thing they’ll see is your holiday post.
Change profile and header images
Your profile and header images are prime real estate. Changing these to reflect your holiday campaign is another great way to gain more visibility for your holiday campaign. Think of these like billboards for anyone who visits your page.
Use social ads to increase your reach
If you have the budget using social media ads is a quick way to increase the visibility of your holiday campaign. Social ads targeting has become so robust that you can target both your current following and new eyes. Create different audience sets to reach people who will be interested in your product or promotion.
Make landing pages shareable
If you’ve created a landing page specific to your holiday campaign or promotion don’t forget to include easy ways for participants can share your campaign or promo. Include clear share buttons and a call to action in order to get people to share. You can even incentivize sharing if you’d like and depending on your campaign.
Create campaign specific hashtags
Creating a specific hashtag for your holiday campaign or promotion will help you gauge the performance of your campaign. This will work best for campaigns where you ask customers to share images, repost messaging etc.
Track your campaign results
Last but not least keep track of your campaign results so you can improve future campaigns. You don’t know where you can go if you don’t know where you’ve been. Tracking can help you set benchamarks are recognize areas where more planning can be needed to increase visibility for your next holiday campaign.
