14 Nov A Sunday at Louis Vuitton’s “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez – Louis Vuitton”
If you love Louis Vuitton and live in NYC you have to visit the Volez, Voguez, Voyagez exhibition where the highlight is the art of travel and the iconic brand has evolved. My friends and I checked it out a few weeks ago on a crisp NYC Sunday before dinner. #NYCVVV is free and showcases the history of the design house from 1854 to now, through gorgeous Louis pieces and documents – plus there’s a wink to NYC. You start the exhibit in the Louis Vuitton subway stop and work your way from the very beginning of the brand’s history to present day. The exhibition is broken down into 10 chapters – each with it’s own beautifully designed room filled with bags, trunks and looks of the time period it reflects. You’ll end the tour watching Louis Vuitton artisans at work, live, and of course a gift shop.
You have until January 7th to check out the Volez, Voguez, Voyagez – Louis Vuitton exhibition being held at the American Stock Exchange Building. I know I’ll definitely be going back – especially because I regret not picking up a luggage tag or coffee table book from the gift shop.
I took some photos of my favorite pieces, check them out below!
